Once you get a chance to meet him, you may not need sedation. However, it is always an option for all of our new and existing patients.

What is Sedation Dentistry?

The sedation medication (Halcion) is taken orally about 30 minutes prior to your appointment
Patients on sedation medication are not permitted to drive a car or operate a motor vehicle for 24 hours following their appointment
While on sedation medication, your dental anxieties will completely disappear, even though you will be awake
Some patients do fall asleep while on sedation medication
Many people will experience some form of amnesia due to the medication
